Kirsten worked in local government and at a Local Enterprise Partnership for nearly 15 years where she was responsible for translating government policy into local or regional strategy. She has experience of developing and delivering general strategic economic plans as well as more focussed education and skills strategies.

Kirsten has an extensive network that includes senior leaders in the world of education, skills, economic development, regeneration and business across Brighton and Hove, Sussex and East Surrey. She is well known and respected for her knowledge, experience, and authentic approach.
